DOT Training

DOT Training for the Registered Inspector or those seeking to become a Registered Inspector as described in 49 CFR 171.8 is now available.

This course will enable those trained to perform VIK Inspections on their own equipment or any cargo tanks that carry hazardous materials in transportation.

The cargo tank designs that can be covered in your course are the MC-306, 307, 312, 331 and DOT 406, 407 and 412 Cargo tanks, including those in metered delivery service.

All classes will be held at the customers’ place of business; take between 8 to 16 hours to complete with most of the training day spent in the field inspecting and/or testing equipment.
